Passed away while in hospital

I'm thinking of you Dave!

I'll always remember the many good times we had together and how you made me laugh.

You had a way of making comments to me that, to this day, still make me smile.

You tolerated our duets together and one in particular I will always dedicate to you...

You Don't Bring Me Flowers...

Anymore.......

Thanks Dave..I'm going to miss you, knowing you are not around anymore!

I first met Dave in a karaoke bar
Not far
From where I lived
I was told I had to go
To hear him sing
It was a thing
Of beauty.
Holly Holy
Came alive
The voce was there
Beyond compare
I was in awe of his talent.
One night
He made me try
Even though I
Had been too shy.
I wasn't kind
To "If you could read my mind"
But he listened anyway
When I was done
He said "son"
Your voice ain't bad
But your phrasing is a tad
Pathetic.
For the next few years over a couple of beers
We got to know one another.
Every time
That I'm
Singing some song
I feel Dave's presence.
So now that he's gone
I feel a little alone
Cause I always thought
I would have bought
Another round
So I could her the sound
That made me so inspired.
So Dave wherever you are
I hope there's a bar
That's on a par
With your voice
Cause if I had the choice
We would rejoice
Together.

A year has passed and I still remember Dave often..(how could you forget him...lol)

I have several tapes and videos that I saved over the years and am (nearly..just have to figure out the connections) in the process of uploading them and then adding to youtube....I can't wait.

Jess my son has a computer program (music studio) that will allow him to enhance the voice recordings and add professional sounding backings to give  Dave's songs almost a 'recording quality'...That will take time though.

Dave...I miss you....

Dave was a good friend and a good man.
I miss his friendship, loyalty and straight forwardness.
If the world was filled with people like Dave, it would be a better place.
I know he is in a better place.

I  have found some great video moments of Dave.  In a dressup karaoke show he was 'Neil Diamond' and did 'Taxi' dressed appropriately as a driver...lol

Can't wait to find a way of getting them onto pc and youtube
